Today I came in touch with one of my long lost friends. I met it in sixth grade, bought it from a store that I feel embarrassed to walk into, Hot Topic. I spent many great moments with it, and at the peak of my gothic days in the midst of 6th grade I cut half of its shoulder off and pretty much ruined it. But all is well now and at the end of the day I can only say that it has brought me wonderful memories of family, friends, and music...
Haha. I'm so stupid that I couldn't even figure out how to take a picture so the words don't turn up backwards. Oh well. For those of you that cannot read, my shirt says "The Strokes". Yeah, thats right. The Strokes. I decided to wear this shirt yesterday at school after realizing that it has just been in my closet for t
oo long. It has not seen the light of day and you know what, it deserved it.
In a way, a rush of nostalgia, mixed with a little teaspoon of sadness overflowed within me. I have vivid memories around Christmas time, where all I did was listen to The Strokes while cleaning my room. Vivid memories of not only my instant family, but my cousins and friends being connected through our , then, latest preoccupation. Vivid memories of what was happening at that point of my life. And as the years wen't by The Strokes kind of died out...Along with those memories. However, these events were good events. Times in my life never to be forgotten. I've got them to thank for =]
I still love Jules, Nikolai, Albert, Nick, and of course my fabulous Fab.
Peace!

"In many ways, they'll miss the good ol days, Someday. Someday...
When we was young, Oh man did we have fun, Always. Always."
